Friday, July 12: Birdies & Brownies

Birdies and Brownies is a 4-person captain’s choice tournament in memory of Keith Jarrell and Jim Martin, with proceeds supporting First Tee – Greater Richmond participants. Keith and Jim were both beloved by all they came into contact with during their time with our organization. Countless visitors benefitted from not just Keith’s lessons and golf acumen, but also his generosity of spiritover his 10-plus years with us. Similarly,Jim was a longtime volunteer at The Tattersall, recognized around the course not only for his gregariousness but also his delicious brownies, which he liberally shared.

Join us on Friday, July 12, as we remember them with a day of fun at the Tattersall Youth Development Center.

The League meets at the Tattersall Youth Development Center every Tuesday morning from March to October. Each week, the league plays different formats, ranging from individual stroke play to team formats like captain’s choice and best ball. During the season the league uses handicaps, and golfers are flighted each week to ensure balance for each round.
