Tattersall Grand Reopening Celebration Events

Come join us all throughout the month of March to celebrate our recently completed course and driving range renovations at the Tattersall Youth Development Center!

 

Saturday, March 7th: Family Day, 10:00am-1:00pm- Bring the whole family for a fun, low pressure introduction to golf. Kids and parents can try putting, chipping, golf related games and the discovery course. Enjoy hot dogs, snacks, and learn about programs at Tattersall. 

This event is free for all! Please register here so we can have a head count.

Sunday, March 8th: Women’s Welcome to Golf, 3:00pm – A relaxed, social afternoon designed for women of all skill levels. Learn the basics and enjoy golf in a welcoming, judgment free setting. $20 per person. Register here

Friday, March 13th: BOGO Range Balls – Golf is better with friends. Bring someone new to the range and enjoy buy one, get one free buckets of balls all day.

Saturday, March 14th: Black Golf Community Day, 9:00am – A two person scramble style golf event celebrating Black golfers and community at Tattersall. Play in teams, enjoy friendly competition, and connect with fellow golfers in a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. $50 per player with a cart, $30 for walking, range balls included. We’ll have closest to the pin and longest drive prizes as well! Register here

Sunday, March 22nd: Clínica de Golf en Español at Tattersall, 3pm – Una clínica de golf abierta y acogedora para hablantes de español. Aprenda lo básico, practique habilidades y conozca Tattersall en un ambiente amigable. $20 por persona.Register here

Tuesday Ladies League

First Tee – Greater Richmond Ladies League is a golf league made up of ladies from the Richmond area. The League meets at the Tattersall Youth Development Center every Tuesday morning from March to October. Each week, the league plays different formats, ranging from individual stroke play to team formats like captain’s choice and best ball. During the season the league uses handicaps, and golfers are flighted each week to ensure balance for each round. The league follows USGA rules and some local rules created by the club and the committee.

Earn a free round during league play when you bring a friend who registers for the league.

In order to join the league you must pay the $30 registration fee.

The greens fees for Senior League play are as follows:

  • Tattersall Member Walk – $5
  • Tattersall Member Ride – $13
  • Non-Member Walk – $26
  • Non-Member Ride – $36

Also included in your greens fee is a hole-in-one fund. Every week $1 is allocated to the hole-in-one fund for every player participating. If someone gets a hole-in-one during league play, the entire accumulated fund will be put into their prize account. The minimum amount to be paid out will be $25.

 

The Ladies League Championship will be two 9-hole rounds of individual stroke play beginning October 1 and concluding on the 8th. The aggregate score will be counted towards awarding a net and gross champion. Additionally, prize money will be awarded by flight. An awards ceremony will be held following the second round of the championship, along with a catered lunch.

Wednesday Senior League

First Tee – Greater Richmond’s Senior League is a golf league made up of men 55 years of age and older from the Richmond area. The League meets weekly at The Tattersall Youth Development Center every Wednesday morning throughout the year.

The league plays different formats, ranging from individual stroke play to team formats such as captain’s choice and best ball. The league uses handicaps, and golfers are flighted each week to ensure balance each week. The league follows USGA rules and some local rules created by the club and the senior league committee.

In order to join the league you must pay the $45 registration fee and have an active handicap through the USGA. If you don’t have an active handicap, you can purchase one for $35 at the Tattersall Pro Shop.

Earn a free round during league play when you bring a friend who registers for the league.

The greens fees for Senior League play are as follows:

  • Tattersall Member Walking – $11
  • Tattersall Member Riding – $ 23
  • Non-Member Walk – $39
  • Non-Member Ride – $59

Included in your greens fees is a weekly prize pool. Following each round, the league will have a payout for each flight.

Also included in your greens fee is a hole-in-one fund. Every week $1 is allocated to the hole-in-one fund for every player participating. If someone gets a hole-in-one during league play, the entire accumulated fund will be put into their prize account. The minimum amount to be paid out will be $100.

The Senior League Championship will be two rounds of individual stroke play beginning October 2 and concluding on the 9th. The aggregate score will be counted towards awarding a net and gross champion. Additionally prize money will be awarded by flight. An awards ceremony will be held following the second round of the championship, along with a catered lunch. The greens fee/cart fee and lunch is included in the senior league registration fee.
